These are the rules for using KandiCon. Using the app means you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
KandiCon is free to use. You need an account to post, comment, follow or message. Keep your account to yourself — anyone who can read your email can get into it, so use an address only you can reach.
If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you make an account.
The patterns, posts, photos and video you make stay yours. You are giving us permission to store them and to show them to other people in KandiCon, because that is what posting means. Nothing more. We do not sell your work, license it to anyone, or put it in adverts.
Only post work and photos that are yours to post.
Peace, Love, Unity, Respect. It is the rule at every rave and it is the rule here. In plain terms, do not:
Every post, comment and profile has a Report button and a Block button. Reports are read by a person and are acted on.
We can hide a post, comment, pattern, tutorial or message, and we can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules. Serious things — anything involving a child's safety in particular — get the account removed straight away, without a warning first.
If you think we got it wrong, email alexander@uniquephoto.com and say so. We will look again.
Orders in the app go through Stripe, and Stripe's own terms cover the payment itself. Prices are in US dollars and shipping is within the United States. If an order goes wrong, email us and we will sort it out.
The KandiCon name, artwork, the pattern-matching that turns a photo into beads, and the app's own tutorials and first-party content belong to KandiCon. Please do not copy the app or take it apart to rebuild it.
KandiCon is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it up and to keep what you have made safe, but we cannot promise the app is never down and never loses anything. Keep your own copies of anything you would be upset to lose. Nothing in KandiCon is a substitute for your own judgement about who you talk to online.
You can delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We can close an account that breaks these rules. Either way, the rules about your own work and about content already deleted stay as written above.
If these rules change, the date at the top changes with them, and a change that actually affects you will be announced in the app.
